1. Reveal your Hero.
2. Determine who goes first. This is done in a random fashion. (Dice roll, Rock Paper Scissors, etc)
3. Choose your equipment.
4. Choose your deck. The remaining cards become sideboard if format allows.
5. Shuffle your deck.
6. Opponent shuffles and/or “splits” your deck.
7. Reveal Equipment and any other cards that begin in a zone other than the deck zone.
8. Begin Game
1. Both players draw to their hero’s intellect.
2. Begin Action Phase or “Combat”
2a. The Turn Player or “Attacker” can play one “Action Point” to use an “Action”.
2b. Declare Action
1. If attacker plays a non-Attack Action
1a. Allow for Defender to react for instants.
1b. If non-Attack Action has “Go Again”, or gives extra “Action Points”, Attacker may play another Action.
2. If Attacker plays Attack Action proceed as follows.
2a. Attacker plays Attack Action.
2b. Defending Player has opportunity to play instants.
2c. Defending Player has opportunity to play instants.
2d. Defender plays Defending Card (These only cost resources if specified defense cards).
2e. Attacker may play Attack Reactions.
2f. Defender may play Defense Reactions.
2g. Resolve Damage.
2h. If Attack Action had “Go Again”, or gives extra “Action Points”,
then the Attacker may play another Action. (Note, if a “non-attack action” is played, the combat chain is automatically closed. If another “attack action” is played, you may choose to continue the combat chain.)
3. Go to End Combat
3a. Attacker has window to play instants.
3b. Defender has window to play instants.
4. Close Action Phase.
9. End Phase.
1. Resolve “Beginning of the end phase” events and abilities.
2. Turn player may place a card face down into their “Arsenal Zone”
3. Each player puts cards from “Pitch Zone” on the bottom of their deck in any order. The order is private.
4. All players lose remaining extra “Action Points” and “Resources”
5. “Turn” or “Attacking” player draws to their hero’s intellect. If this is the first turn, both players draw.
6. Resolve all “until end of turn” effects.
10. Proceed to next turn.
